The revelation of the Book is from Allāh, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
This Scripture is sent down from God, the Mighty and Wise One
The Revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise
Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers.
There are signs in the heavens and the earth for those who believe
Behold, in the heavens and the earth are Signs for all who are willing to attain conviction
And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith].
in your own creation and all the creatures He has spread about, there are signs for people of sure faith
And in your own creative design, and in all the animals which He has spread widely, there are Signs for those who explore and attain certainty
And [in] the alternation of night and day and [in] what Allāh sends down from the sky of provision [i.e., rain] and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and [in His] directing of the winds are signs for a people who reason.
and in the succession of night and day, and in the means of subsistence which God sends down from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the circulation of the winds: [in all this] there are signs for people who use their reason
And in the alternation of the night and the day, and in the means of sustenance which Allah sends down from the Height, reviving the earth which had been lifeless, and in the change of winds and seasons - in all this are Signs for people who use their reason
These are the verses of Allāh which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allāh and His verses will they believe?
These are God's revelations, which We recite to you in all truth. But if they deny God and His revelations, in what message will they believe
These are the Messages of Allah We convey to you with Truth. Then, in what HADITH, if not in Allah and His Verses, will they believe
Woe to every sinful liar
Woe to every sinful liar
Woe unto every fabricating impostor
Who hears the verses of Allāh recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.
He hears God's revelations being recited to him, yet persists in his arrogance as if he had never heard them. Forewarn him of a painful punishment
(The impostor) who hears Allah's Verses conveyed to him, yet he is haughtily obstinate, as though he never heard them. Hence, announce unto him grievous punishment
And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.
When he learns something of Our revelations, he derides them: for such there will be humiliating torment
For when he learns anything of Our Verses, he belittles them. Theirs is a shameful suffering in store
Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allāh as allies. And they will have a great punishment.
In front of them is Hell; and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides God: for them there shall be a terrible punishment
Ahead of them is Hell, and what they have earned will not avail them, nor will the AWLIA (saints, sufis, imams) whom they had chosen besides Allah. Theirs will be an awesome suffering. (29:24), (7)
This [Qur’ān] is guidance. And those who have disbelieved in the verses of their Lord will have a painful punishment of foul nature.
Such is Our guidance; those who reject their Lord's revelations shall suffer a woeful punishment
Guidance is this Qur'an. And those who deny the Revelations of their Lord, for them is a weakening chastisement
It is Allāh who subjected to you the sea so that ships may sail upon it by His command and that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
It is God who has subjected the sea to you so that you may sail thereon by His command, and so that you may seek His bounty, and so that you may be grateful
Allah it is Who has made the sea of service to you that the ships may run thereon by His Command, and that you may seek of His Bounty, and that you may be grateful
And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth - all from Him. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.
He has subjected whatever is in heaven and on the earth to you; it is all from Him. In that are signs for those who ponder
And He has made subservient to you, from Himself, all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. Therein, behold, are Signs for people and nations who reflect
Say, [O Muḥammad], to those who have believed that they [should] forgive those who expect not the days of Allāh [i.e., of His retribution] so that He may recompense a people for what they used to earn.
Tell the believers to ignore those who do not believe in the coming of the days of God. He will requite people for what they have done
Tell all believers that they should forgive and try to save those who do not believe in the oncoming Days of Allah. It is for Him alone to recompense each nation for their good or ill deeds that they have earned. (Days of Allah = When mankind establishes the Divine System on earth. ((14:5). 'Yaghfir' = Forgive = Protect from the harmful effects of misdeeds
Whoever does a good deed - it is for himself; and whoever does evil - it is against it [i.e., the self or soul]. Then to your Lord you will be returned.
Whoever does what is just and right, does so for his own good; and whoever does evil, does so to his own detriment, and you shall all return to your Lord
Whoever helps others helps himself. And whoever hurts others hurts his own 'Self'. And in the end all of you will be brought back unto your Lord. ('Amale Saleh' = Fulfilling others' needs = Enhance human potential = Take corrective action = Help the individual or society = Doing collective good = Grow in goodness. 'Amale Su' = Destabilize someone = Hurting others = Causing imbalance = Promoting injustice and inequity)
And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.
We gave Scriptures, wisdom and prophethood to the Children of Israel, and provided them with good things and favoured them over all other people
And, indeed, We gave to the Children of Israel the Scripture, the Rule and a succession of Prophets, and provided them with good things and bestowed upon them bounties more than other nations of the time.
And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
We gave them clear arguments in matters [of religion]. It was only after knowledge came to them that they differed among themselves out of mutual rivalry. On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will judge between them regarding their differences
And gave them clear Commandments. Yet, they fell for differences through rivalry among themselves after Knowledge had come to them. Behold, your Lord will judge between them on the Resurrection Day concerning all they differed about
Then We put you, [O Muḥammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know.
Then We set you on a clear path [of religion]: so follow it, and do not yield to the desires of those who have no knowledge
And now We have appointed you (O Messenger) on the Right Way. So follow it, and yield not to the whims of the ignorant
Indeed, they will never avail you against Allāh at all. And indeed, the wrongdoers are allies of one another; but Allāh is the protector of the righteous.
They can be of no avail to you against God. The wrongdoers are friends of one another, while the friend of the righteous is God
Behold, they cannot avail you the least against Allah. And, verily, the wrongdoers are friends unto one another, while Allah is the Friend of those who walk aright
This [Qur’ān] is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy for a people who are certain [in faith].
This [Book] brings enlightenment and guidance to mankind, and is a blessing for those who have firm faith
The Messages right before you are a means of vision and insight for mankind, and a Guidance and a Grace for people who wish to live by conviction rather than uncertainty
Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death? Evil is that which they judge [i.e., assume].
Do those who commit evil deeds imagine that We shall deal with them in the same way as We deal with those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds, that they will be alike in their living and their dying? How badly they judge
What! Do those who disrupt others' lives think that We will treat them, in life and death, like believers and helpers of humanity? Off balance, indeed, is their judgment
And Allāh created the heavens and earth in truth and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.
God has created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose, so that every soul may be rewarded for whatever it has earned, and no one will be wronged
For, Allah has created the heavens and the earth with Purpose, and that every person shall be repaid what he or she has earned. And none shall be wronged
Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allāh has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allāh? Then will you not be reminded?
[Prophet], consider the one who has taken his own desire as a deity, whom God allows to stray in the face of knowledge, sealing his ears and heart and covering his eyes -- who can guide such a person after God [has abandoned him]? Will you not take heed
Have you ever noted him who makes his desire his god? Consequently Allah lets him go astray despite his knowledge. The Divine Law seals his hearing and heart, and places a veil on his sight. Then who will lead him after he has left Allah? Will you not then take this admonition to heart
And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time." And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming.
They say, "There is nothing but our life in this world: we die, we live, nothing but time destroys us." They have no knowledge of this; they only follow conjecture
And yet they say, "There is nothing beyond our life of this world. We die as we come to life (per chance) and nothing destroys us but Time." But of that they have no knowledge. They do nothing but make a wild guess
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, their argument is only that they say, "Bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful."
Whenever Our clear revelations are recited to them, their only argument is to say, "Bring back to us our forefathers, if what you say be true
And when Our Revelations are conveyed to them in all clarity, their only argument is this, "Bring back our forefathers if you are truthful
Say, "Allāh causes you to live, then causes you to die; then He will assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt, but most of the people do not know."
Say, "God gives you life, then causes you to die, and then will gather you together for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. But most people do not know it
Say, "It is Allah who gives you life, and then causes you to die. And He will gather all of you together on the Resurrection Day, the advent of which is beyond doubt." But most people know not (that the human 'Self' survives the physical death)
And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And the Day the Hour appears - that Day the falsifiers will lose.
To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; on the Day when the Hour comes, those who follow falsehood will be the losers
For, unto Allah belongs the Dominion of the heavens and the earth. And on the Day when the Hour stands - on that Day will be lost all those who run after the mirage of Falsehood
And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.
You will see every people on their knees, every people shall be summoned to its Record [and a voice will say], "Today you will be requited for your deeds
And you will see every nation kneeling down, each nation called to its record. (And it will be said), "This Day you shall be paid for all that you ever did
This, Our record, speaks about you in truth. Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do."
This record of ours will declare the truth about you: We have been recording whatever you have been doing
This Our Record tells the truth about you. Behold, We arranged for all your doings to be meticulously recorded
So as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is what is the clear attainment.
Those who believed and did good deeds will be admitted by their Lord into His mercy -- that shall be the manifest triumph
Now as for those who accepted the Message and helped the society, their Lord will admit them into His Grace. That! That is the Obvious Triumph
But as for those who disbelieved, [it will be said], "Were not Our verses recited to you, but you were arrogant and became a criminal people?
But those who rejected the truth [will be asked], "When My revelations were recited to you, were you not arrogant and did you not persist in wicked deeds
And as for those who rejected the Truth (they will be told), "Were not My Messages conveyed to you? But you took an arrogant stance since you were an exploitive folk
And when it was said, 'Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth and the Hour [is coming] - no doubt about it,' you said, 'We know not what is the Hour. We assume only assumption, and we are not convinced.'"
When it was said to you, "God's promise is true: there is no doubt about the Hour," did you not reply, 'We do not know what the Hour is. We think it to be nothing but a conjecture, and we are not convinced
And when it was said, "Behold, Allah's Promise always comes true and there is no doubt about the Hour - you would reply, "We do not know what the Hour is. We think it could be conjecture, however, we are not certain
And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
The evil of their actions will then become clear to them. The punishment they mocked will engulf them
And their disruptive actions will become obvious to them and the very thing they used to mock will surround them
And it will be said, "Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours, and your refuge is the Fire, and for you there are no helpers.
It will be said to them, "This Day We shall forget you, as you yourselves forgot that you would meet this Day. Your abode shall be the Fire, and you shall have no helpers
And it will be said, "This Day We forget you, just as you forgot the meeting of this your Day. And your abode is the Fire, and there is none to help you
That is because you took the verses of Allāh in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you." So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [Allāh].
That is because you made a mockery of God's revelations and were deluded by the life of this world." Therefore, today they will not be brought out of the Fire, nor will they be allowed to make amends
This, because you ridiculed Allah's Messages, having allowed the life of the world to deceive you." This Day, therefore, they will not be taken out, nor can they make amends
Then, to Allāh belongs [all] praise - Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds.
Praise, then, be to God, Lord of the heavens, and Lord of the earth, the Lord of all the worlds
(Time is now to realize) Then, all Praise is due to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Worlds
And to Him belongs [all] grandeur within the heavens and the earth, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
All greatness belongs to Him in the heavens and earth. He is the Almighty, the All Wise
And His alone is all Majesty in the Universe, and He alone is Almighty, Most Wise
